Customer Service Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to be the first point of contact for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the department.
Duties will include:
- To oversee the department and ensure all runs smoothly
- To keep customers updated and happy with the service we provide
- Invoicing/ closing off and reports
- To keep tariffs updated to minimalize queries
- To approach new business and supply rates
- To build relationships with customers
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Rate confirmations
- Prepare and check invoices
- Answer queries in relation to invoices
- Input delivery notes
- Chase releases for the following day
- Go through landing times
- Rate all jobs on tariff in place or by quote on email
- Chase PODs
- Check outstanding shipping lines which are not advised on the delivery note
- Quoting for jobs and process once these are confirmed
- Liaising with operations and accounts to resolve queries
- Any other duties as required
What We Need From You:
- Must have experience of working in customer services within a busy traffic office
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbally and written
- High levels of attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under your own initiative and also part of a team
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- Excellent organisational skills
OTHER DUTIES
- To work with the Head of Operations with rates and queries
- To assist with any additional tasks required by above
